I think Bush Sr. screwed up. He should have taken Saddam out.

Bush Sr, and the UN, failed the Iraqis in 1991. Thousands were counting on us to free them from Saddam. They rose up against Saddam. Then we left them high and dry, and Saddam murdered them all.

We failed them in 1991.
