Are you sure Hitler was a threat to the rest of the world. Sure, he had a few subs off the coast of America, but he was never a threat to America. He was a threat to Europe, Northern Africa, and parts of the Middle East, but not to America. That might have changed, but we'll never know. Just like we'll never know if Saddam would have continued his WMD production and been a threat to America.
Anyway, I see no difference between Hitler and Saddam. Both are guilty of invading their neighbors, and both are guilty of attempted Genocide. Maybe I am incapable of seeing the difference, but to me, the situations are very similar.
