I see no difference in that either, because the intended target is combatants and not civilians. It is the terrorists who INTENTIONALLY target innocent civilians, such as the suicide bombers who killed hundreds of women and children at mosques and markets, who are more evil. The American forces and the Iraqi insurgents are fighting a war. The terrorists are deliberately slaughtering innocent people who just happen to think differently.

I understand you "...expect (YOUR) COUNTRY to behave at a very high standard." So do I. Where I differ from you is I expect MY SPECIES to behave at a higher standard too, not just my country. Being human allows me to judge other humans on this planet as well as Americans. You should not relinquish that right you have as well.
