It's easy for someone who is self-declared "born again" and who is not currently running for office to heap disdain on other Christian-panderers running for office.
Then when they run, they quickly change their tune - like a Hillary - pandering left and right, non-stop to whatever group and special interest block will provide them the votes. Explaining away previous statements and flipper-flopping like a hyperactive seal.
I wouldn't call it classy. I would call it hypocritical.
And, for what it's worth, not all atheists can be fit with the same shoe-horn either.
