I specifically stated above that my mening of blood for oil is stealing Iragi oil. It's also quite obvious that's how the terrorists portray it. It's obvious to any thinking person that the reason we care about the ME is oil. Ensuring oil flows is critical to our national interest. What's to discuss about that, and who would argue with that? Are you claiming it's wrong to care about what happen's in the ME because of oil or that it's wrong to make it a priority over the other cesspits in the world because it affects our national interest and they don't? I would disagree with you on such issues, but such debates don't come close to being treason in anyone's mind that I can think of.
Chanting blood for oil over what you claim it is is a fine example of being a terrorist dupe, but not treasonous. It's not appropriate and it sure incites ME muslims. Claim we are shedding blood to protect our oil interests and you have something of a point even if you are inflating it's importance if you claim that's the only reason. Phrase it as blood for oil and that's something that inflames people.
