Robert and the other moderators are free to lock me out if they are as offended by my freedom of speech as they were of Gary's.
Nobody has been locked out of anything, regardless of offense given, taken, or perceived. EP has been banned, at his own request. That is the only recent case, and that is a separate issue.
We can go on about the nature of free speech for quite a while without it making a dent, so I pass. I have said my piece, and have no need to repeat it.
While I'll concede Robert did not intend to speak as moderator,
Thank you. Robert always speaks as a moderator when he uses his full name. Any other post is as himself personally.
his initial words did not convey that

His initial words -- his post title followed by his first name only -- clearly conveyed that.
and there is no evidence Gary ever read his clarification on flame.
Neither is there any evidence that Gary didn't read Robert's clarification on Flame. There is only evidence that he declined to comment on it.
I fail to see why you persist in this. You have already made it abundantly plain on several occasions that you don't like Robert's style of moderation. To continue to bring up this particular set of events will only feed any resentments stemming from them.
When I was little, I used to pick at scabs because they itch, but experience taught me that it only prolonged the pain and sometimes led to infection and scarring. Some people like the sting of hydrogen peroxide. Not me. Some people think scarring is attractive. Again, count me out. I'm not going to pick this scab.
