re: That being the case

"WMDs (none existed); nuclear program (none existed); ties to al Qaeda, or however that's spelled (none existed); liberation of common Iraqis (shaky at best); establishment of democracy (doesn't look good...); reduction of terrorist capacity to operate at large (yeah, right...),"

It would be more accurate to say:
No large stockpiles of chemical or biological weapons were found, no active nuclear program was found, not enough evidence was found to prove a direct connection to terrorist groups and the Saddam's regime [connections between them were found, but there was not enough evidence of direct connection to erase all doubts of all commitee member involved in investigating the matter ], Iraqis were liberated, democracy is being established in Iraq, terrorists acts outside of Iraq in such places as Africa, Europe, and America, are not increasing. The general support for terrorists among muslims has significantly lowered. Therefore the success of al Qaeda in attacking America in 911 and in other attacks has failed to energize support, and continous terrorist attacks in Iraq [particularly attacks against Iraqis] has turned many Iraqis and other Muslims against them.

Now, why does Fox feel it's neccessary to grossly misrepresent the facts?
