Apparently, occupation means having miltary forces in another country. One could guess according this this peculiar reasoning that having *too many* police on the streets is also equal to a Police State.
According to this view, Europe was under US occupation during the Cold war- and is still under occupation even today. Merely having a US miltary base could be called being under occupation- therefore vast portions of this world is under US occupation- Canada, S Korea, Japan, Europe, Turkey, Kuwait, ect. Though I suppose in strict sense [of this wacky view] Saudi Arabia could be said to no longer be occupied because I believe that at the moment there is no longer any US miltary base currently in Saudi Arabia- but then again there are US miltary bases near Saudi Arabia and there is no doubt the US defends Saudi Arabia and it's interests. So perhaps depending upon one's mood, one could call Saudi Arabia occupied. But in this same kind of mood- the whole world is occupied by the US- in varying degrees [the US has some areas which are considered to have higher levels of strategic importance- and btw in this twisted view even Iran is occupied by the US].
I suppose all this is in the land in which Bush equals Hitler- a very strange place indeed.
In a simple world [which is a hideously dull place] the US at the moment is not occupying any country in the world- unless you include it's part in various UN activities {and I'm not talking about Iraq or Afganistan- which btw are sovereign nations]. In this simple world, occupation is related to the boring and shallow concept having to do with the artifical concept called sovereignty.
