I'm starting to think I'm going to have to use diagrams.

a) General thesis here: We need to get out of Iraq because our presence in a hostile country is creating terrorists. Leave aside the accuracy of this idea for now.

b) I point out that if this were true, and if we weren't in Iraq, we would be creating these same terrorists in Afghanistan.

c) Your response: we SUPPORTED the occupation of Afghanistan.
