SDAI, it is certainly not our soldiers as a whole that are creating terrorists although I'm certain there are individuals that have created enemies all their lives wherever they went.

What's instrumental in creating terrorists are the policies of the US government. Citizens should never stop questioning their leaders in deference to the feelings of the soldiers tasked with carrying out those policies. Democracies and republics don't work that way.

You speak of personal responsibility and yet somehow those military personnel are immune from being placed under the microscope? I would think that, if the premise is that this is a volunteer army and the soldiers know the risks to their lives and health, that they also should know the risks of being held accountable for their interactions in foreign lands and the knowledge that their mission isn't always going to be what's best for the country.
