Wars are waged against neighbours because of territorial conflicts or to liberate a country from a foreign occupier. Wars are not waged against countries halfway around the globe when they are no threat to the world.
No threat to the world? What planet do you live on?
Saddam would have bought nuclear missiles from N. Korea for one.
Saddam put an assignation hit on our president for another.
Papers have been found linking Saddam supporting terrorist in the southern hemisphere.
Wars are wage against countries that don't abide to the rules set to them and these were by the UN. If you don't like the rules, tell it to the UN.
NONE of the terrorists came from or were trained in Iraq. OBL hated Saddam because he led a secular country.
Papers have been found linking al Qaeda and Iraq.
Prisoners have confessed to training in Iraq.
Zawqari received help in Iraq prior to the war.
And attract terrorists in Iraq? And chase the middle class away, leaving the religious in power to create an islamist state?
OBL won three times: the US did the job of eliminating Saddam for him, then the US attracted terrorists in Iraq, while not enough resources were left to find him.
What a way to comfort the 911 vicitims' relatives.
OBL hasn’t won a damn thing and yes, the stradegy was to fight the terrorist on there turf not the US.
This war isn’t about comforting the 911 victims relatives, it’s about fighting terrorist for the free world and countries who want to be free.
