I heard insider reports shortly after Powell's speech that, when given the materials for the presentation, he went ballistic at the quality of the evidence and nearly refused to keep his appointment.

Makes you wonder what the neocons were holding over him. Probably viewed a porno of an 17 year old girl at one time and the NSA caught him at it.

What's weird is that I hope that's why he went along. It's scary that I'd rather him be a borderline child porn viewer than an out and out liar who's desire for power helped to propel these losers to where they are today.
