Digital Immortality
Books can have a form of immortality, so why not the HZ data? It does pose an interesting challenge though. How to kee the data from being discarded over time. Estates that require the propagation and sustaining of computer files is obviously one element. Back up copies in various formats reproduced as often as feasible.
Books show that they can last about two hundred years without much problem. What will the shelf life of digital data be I wonder?
Sounds like a cool element to introduce into modern sci-fi.
