Treason. A breach of allegiance to one's government, usually committed through levying war against such government or by giving aid or comfort to the enemy. The offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance; or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power. Treason consists of two elements: adherence to the enemy, and rendering him aid and comfort. Cramer v. U. S., U.S.N.Y., 325 U.S. l, 65 S.Ct. 918, 9327 89 L.Ed. 1441. See 18 U.S.C.A. § 2381. A person can be convicted of treason only on the testimony of two witnesses, or confession in open court. Art. III, Sec. 3, U.S. Constitution.
You must have a short memory, Robert- you know DAMN well that the lefties on this board have not only preached treason but have openly committed treasonous acts! You may want to try to forget and gloss over that fact, but it is all there in the archived messages- maybe as 'impartial moderator' you should peruse the posts a bit more often!
Do you need me to dredge up some old posts to refresh your memory?

1,227 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq searching for WMD that were never there...
On a more pleasant note; I am starting a charity to provide the freedom fighters unjustly imprisoned in Guantanamo with Tempur-Pedic(R) pillows- http://www.healthyback.com/store/sleeping/images/hbcontourneckpillow.jpg a donation of just $80 will provide these poor men with desperately needed theraputic pillows to ease their illegal incarceration.
Does that not count as 'giving comfort to the enemy'? ======================================================== How many here have forgotten this 'Goodbye' from the leftie that called himself JWL?

I am tired of arguing with partisan imbeciles here- you want every issue to be black and white? Fine, just dont expect me to play along- I am through with the HZ. I mean it this time. I am going to go on travel and hopefully I will find some people a little less dogmatic in their beliefs. I hoped to find in the HZ a community that I could belong to- thanks for sinking that hope! -you assholes!
We later learned that JWL was John Walker Lindh- the American Taliban http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/df/John_Walker_Lindh.jpg ========================================================= And for those original members that remember when the 'HZ' was moderated by Al Staley on the Afterhours.cc board, there is this gem:
