Treason has a definition, or used to.

"Giving aid and comfort to the enemy" is a deliberate and narrowly defined act.

Disagreeing with the leadership, espousing a political pov opposing the actions of the leadership, even accepting what the enemy says as truer than our own news: none of that is treason. At least not in a nation that has ensconced free speech as one of its founding principles.

"Dissent I don't like" is not the same as "treason". Treason is a capital crime. Anyone who wants to rob the word of its true meaning and the concept of its power should overuse it and misuse it whenever possible.

I'm disappointed that you think that Robert hasn't the right to be offended by what offends him, and to express that, because he also moderates. Maybe people who have authority over others generally have no right to express personal opinions, though. Let's ask Judge Roberts, shall we?
