...sometimes I let the players in this little play step out of character. Gary misspoke. He meant to say, "we have folks here who are reasonable in their questioning of our government's motivations and are very patriotic in their characterizations of our President. It is easy to see how such patriotism could be mirrored by Iranians questioning their Mullahs."

I first thought I'd have him fight or crawl back here sucking up and smoothing feathers, but I decided to rewrite the script entirely at this point. It was way too heavy handed.

Hmmm. I think I'll introduce an Iraqi who praises Bush and urges permanent base development, or might that be a form of repetition? Perhaps Bush himself could make an appearance? Nah, no one would believe that he spends part of his vacation horsing around at the HZ.

Don't worry. I'll come up with something memorable.
