Robert is THE moderator. The others are moderators whose power is given to them by Robert. When he complains about someone it's impossible to forget that he owns the server and the software.
If you're at McDonald's giving bad looks at some of the other customers and Ronald McDonald hops over the counter, wipes off the face paint & happy smile and says "I'm just a customer now...what the heck are you insulting customers for?" - is anyone going to forget that's really Ronald McDonald and one can't speak to him like one can to a real customer when in his establishment?
Face paint or no face paint...it really doesn't matter. Gary's words have to be ones of reconciliation.
Personally, I think Gary has the right to say whatever the heck he wants too. He didn't name anyone specifically. He let the word rankle folks on the left and took the stick to the bars of the monkey cage. Suddenly everyone's hopping about screaming and swinging.
I didn't see anyone ,moderator or otherwise, jumping up and down when Davin here called me a Nazi before he took his little vacation. Those leaning towards the left side of the aisle can certainly dish it out, but can they take it?
Should we re-christen it the Hypocrisy Zone? Or would such a notion be treasonous?
