Lag time in adding to post.
I've noticed the system takes longer to process new posts on a super long existing thread. My guess is somehow the entire thread is reposted in some manner with the new changes? I can see how this leads to the dreaded double posting problem as posters don't think they must've somehow failed to click "post".
